Warne added: "We are a League One club who can afford to buy a couple of players but a lot of teams in the division are recruiting without spending a penny.

Am I missing something here ? Last season we couldn't sign players because we could not compete financially. Now we are being warned that its a struggle to sign players despite having money to spend but other clubs are signing targets for free!!!

You don't think we are being primed to accept poor results in the transfer market again eh ? Very strange.

This also translates as

"We have proved over several seasons that the current staff we have are next to useless in managing the recruitment and selling of players and also in relation to player contracts, so , after careful consideration, we decided we would do nothing about it let them carry on doing the same again this season...."

As said many times by me and others, it is this issue, not relegation, that has lead a lot of us to cancel our season tickets and wait and see what happens.

It's like Warne makes sensible statements about recruiting in lower leagues then is immediately put in his place when reality proves our current staff that are supposed to help him are simply incompetent...

...and you can go back to all the previous managers who have experienced similar hardships when trying to recruit.

Until TS sorts out his staffing, and I fear he won't, we will not progress as a club.
