According to the o/s the players are planning to applaud the supporters after the game tomorrow. Not sure about that to be honest. Perhaps they are right to thank the fans for sticking with them. I hope they aren't expecting lots of love back. Some of them have given lots of effort and come up short, but a good number simply haven't tried hard enough - although Paul Warne seems to think otherwise. I can think of a few who really shouldn't bother joining in. And one or two who probably wont even be at the ground if they've got any sense. It has the feel of a bad idea and it could all backfire and be very awkward, particularly if Derby give us a thumping. If I was in charge of PR at RUFC, I think I'd try to be a bit imaginative and maybe get the players, captain or chairman to give some sort of message thanking the supporters and promising to do all they can to do much better next season. That might be better received than a hollow lap of honour.
Good end of season display IMO,even Fisher had a good game. Ajayi is gonna be a good in in L1, Wood did well as did Smallwood. The corporate p**sheads got it wrong again but hey ho.
