"ROTHERHAM United’s leading marksman Danny Ward could be set to leave the club this summer, according to boss Paul Warne. The 12-goal forward has excelled in a team relegated from the Championship and at the foot of the table. The Advertiser understands the Millers turned down offers for Ward in January but a significant bid has now come in from a Championship club, with another lodging serious interest. Ward (25) has been with Rotherham for two-and-a-half years since his arrival from Huddersfield Town, and it is thought that his former club have a sizeable sell-on clause in his contract.
