BREAKING: Local papers announce something genuinely breaking

I know we've had this before but it's about time we limited the local press to a single thread per day where they can publish the TS messages and all the other "breaking news" (ala PW becoming manager).  I'm getting sick of seeing the top half of the board filled with their threads - they don't contribute, they direct you off to their own website and apart from accepting praise they never respond to the rest of the thread, e.g. acknowledging the sentiment of the fans over the PW non event.

I'm not a moderator but if I was I'd ban them for a month for treating us like idiots, and I've stopped traversing their advert riddled websites.

Completely agree. Some time ago I posted something similar & got roundly shouted down for it. Mssrs Davis & Cawthorn are now taking the micky with their TS approved posts & I urge ExeterMiller to ask them to think about their future contributions.

I've been thinking of reactivating the news feature which gives a header at the top of the board (from memory), that is just for news articles, and keeps it off the main discussion board

That would be very useful Exetermiller, then we can choose whether or not to read
