All have a read and tell me that in his interview after the Wednesday game Paul(s) Warne(s) didnt know he had the job there and then. Lining up interviews with players before he had the job ?? Special announcement was all just Tony Stewarts showmanship. Well I actually think it shows his lack of ambition for the club.
Anyways back to the article. Why stop at Pringle ?? Why not bring back Revelle, Moore or Breckin, maybe Pollitt can pull on his old jersey if it still fits Then again could we afford these massive players with our 5th highest budget in the division ??
Again this announcement states our chairmans ambition 5th highest budget, not even aiming for the top So is that the level we are looking to finish ?? 5th then relive the miracle of Wembley ?? Bring back the crowds on a wave of success ??
Stop with all the bull**** ive heard just about enough
Except he couldn't get away quick enough and was rather publicly 'critical' of the club on social media so I believe. What makes us the club to be at now?

You've completely confused me with your quote.
T.S. didn't say we would have the 5th highest budget in League 1, what he said was "We will have a top five budget " There is a difference. In other words of the 24 teams that are in League 1 we will be in the top 5 as regards a playing budget. Wigan, if they come down with us will also have a top 5 budget. A polite question for you, do you know how a playing budget is worked out ?
Charlton had the highest budget this season in League 1, just over £10M and look where they are in the league table. Sheffield United had the 5th highest budget and are coming back to the Championship at last.

Appologies if i confused you tiger I sometimes go off on one and type what my head is putting out at mach 2 .Fair point on the 2 clubs and yes i do understand player budgets and our championship budget (or at least what we have seen of it) will not cut it in the top 5 in L1. Its the quote in itself I have issue with, its been reused every pre-season with minor tweeks, we always have a competetive budget but can never "get the player across the line"
Similar thing this time we will have a "top 5" budget but will buy from the basement and be beaten to players by what is essentially what we can pay them.
In football 95 per cent of achievement is directly linked to budget. Hence relegation.
True Heman. Even more so in the Championship although there are a few exceptions. Usually clubs with lower end budget end up being relegated eventually.

No need to apologize gaz. I just wondered why you were thinking we were aiming to finish 5th next season.
Next seasons budget can / will / should be based on a % of this years turnover figure. With us playing with the ' Big Boys ' for the last 3 seasons I'm out of touch with the actual % figure.
If it's around 60% Tony Stewart can add to that with sponsorship money ( give away money ) like he has been doing for several seasons in the past, any transfer cash from the sale of players ie Danny Ward up to the end of August ( transfer deadline ) can be added to the budget. Once it's reached a certain % loan money can't be added in but give away money can, hence why super rich Chairmen in the Championship are bankrolling their clubs. We will have a competitive budget in League 1 lets hope P.W. spends it wisely. Semi Ajayi & Ben Purrington are a step in the right direction.
