Heard it all before. Took over 6 points adrift and saw us down 24pts away from safety with 9 straight defeats is it and deemed the right man for the job.
I won't be renewing my season ticket and neither will my son, I have supported TS completely but this is an insane decision and the fact it is a 12 month rolling contract says they know that too. We will be in another relegation battle and I can't watch this man in our dug out, he knows nothing about tactics and he will buy badly and waste the limited budget then when we give the job to the tea boy in Sept when we are bottom of the league we will be stuck with awful players. I beg every Rotherham fan that thinks this is the wrong decision not to renew their ticket and stop going it is the only way to protest.
We expected it, but I was hoping we had all got it wrong, so I'm still sort of shocked.
Well, let's see what the backlash is, our Poll said NO, Paul's 'tiser poll said NO, let's hope some are brave enough to express this loud and clear... and ultimately they will - by not renewing season tickets and not going to games.
I really do think TS has either lost interest or lost the plot...
Warne can't manage, neither can he pick a team or spot an issue, so we will have Fisher at Full back who is the worst player I've seen in a Millers shirt and simply is not capable of defending, probably sign Morris, and have the core of this useless team next season with a few new faces and a handful of loanees..
Mid table would be fantastic... but how many will be there to watch 4.000, 5,000 at best.
In business terms this is a disaster, as fans, we are totally and utterly fed up.
I actually feel worse now than when we were at DVS. I know we have nearly gone bust twice (at least) and this is not that - but what a waste and what a load of crap.....
No way will i be renewing now, terrible, terrible news, we must be in a right state financially, jackett, warnock knew this, the writing is on the wall, sad really
All though I have known it was coming for weeks now I am still devastated at this ridiculous decision. In all my years watching the Miller's I have seen the Club take some bad decisions with regard to Managers, but this ranks as the worst ever. This will prove to be disastrous for our Club and could well see us relegated again.
Why on earth has this decision been taken, what are we not being told about the situation that the Club finds itself in. If Tony Stewart really believes that this is what's best for the Club he really has lost the plot and along with it several thousand season ticket holders. I won't listen to his incoherent ramblings on Radio Sheffield tonight because quite honestly I have heard enough bullshine from him to last me a lifetime.
