Thank you, Joe.

Was there going to be any other result tonight?

Too many missed chances. I cannot understand why Danny Ward was playing left full back at the end of the game.
Why did Danny Ward take the free kicks just outside the penalty box? Joe Newell should have taken them.

I'm surprised Danny Ward wasn't taking all the corner kicks as well.

Danny Ward. Prolific striker my ar5e!

You could almost write the report before the game. Taylor runs round a lot very fast without any end product. Danny Ward looks semi-injured and semi-interested. Smallwood puts a shift in but gives it away a lot. Price could have done better for at least one of the goals. We miss our chances and they take theirs. Etc, etc. I didn't go and I'm glad I didn't to be honest. I've seen it all at least once too often and knowing what is coming makes it all the more frustrating when it happens. I needed a break from it.

I am hoping beyond hope that Warne and Stewart have been party to an elaborate hoax and someone (anyone) else will be appointed tomorrow. Never before can a club have appointed a manager after a run of nine straight defeat (five goals scored and twenty-five against) in a caretaker spell. It isn't Warne's fault that we are down but he hasn't even restored even a modi*** of pride or hope. There is no reason at all to give him the job. Thanks for your efforts Paul, which were genuine and never less than 100% as always, but we need a real manager for next season. And some different players. In fact a complete reboot.

There is every reason NOT to give him the job. If he gets it then TS has sold the fans out. I never ever thought i would say that.

warnes quote

“I have been saying for a while that if the chairman wants me to do the job for three years or three weeks, I will. I’m not going back on that,” he said. “If the chairman rings me tomorrow and asks me to be the manager then I’d be proud to do it and give it the best I could.”

my response

well paul you maybe not responsible for buying the team, i admit your heart is in the club, but i am afraid in my opinion and the comments you have made. I m sorry but your best isnt good enough. you cannot i repeat cannot be the manager and the players mate.

if you take the job and to be honest 75% of the team will be playing league 1 and i cant see them improving under you. so would will probably be sacked 10 games in.

So paul is it worth the risk

Glad i am so far away or would probably be hacked off as Brad at the thought of paying good money to people who have lost the plot.

Warne(s) can't possibly be Rotherham United through and through, he just can't be. Its just twaddle. Full marks for stepping in and giving it a go though.

Anyone who cared about the club and the fans as much as he purports would have stepped down before now. Its not his fault that we're relegated but he has just dragged us through the sh.it in the process.

Like Smiler I just hope the great announcement is going to be really something special and the TS=PW love in has been a huge April fool joke

Dont need a manager with the sound of it - need a psychologist and fast, before next seasons recruitment starts.

Dont want any of the ones who have been the cause of this season to still be in that dressing room poisoning the new recruits.
