Season Ticket Prices

Just heard on TV that U17s will be able to buy a season ticket at Donny Rovers for £30 next year - I suspect ours will be 10x that for same age group and likely to be in the same league.

ST prices will be out soon, but not soon enough for us to make a descision about if we want to follow Paul Warne(s) down into Lg 2 crycry

That should be a concern for the Rotherham United hierarchy because as a result of this campaign's disaster the season ticket demographics could change dramatically agewise. As an example I sit in the West Stand with 2 other fathers of similar age. We all have sons in late teens/early twenties who don't know each other but all three have said they will not be renewing season tickets, especially if Warne gets the manager's job. I think next year the ground will be populated by the older generation(who've seen it all before) while the younger end will have found something more rewarding to occupy them on a Saturday afternoon.

I think you are right about losing a lot of the momentum in young fans who have joined since the new stadium was built and enjoyed the seasons up to this one.

But it doesn't matter what age you are, there are very few people who would pay to be tortured for 90 minutes every other week... there will be just as many 'old' fans not renewing, and again I agree that is he gives Warne the job it will prove once again the failings of the club and knock a few mores 100s off the sales.

Not investing in playing staff and making monumental blunders like not doing what it takes to keep Warnock and not selling Ward are all very bad business mistakes.

I think if Warne is manager and we get the same issues with signings as last season they will be lucky to get 5000 a match in.

And who can blame them really ? A club that promises so much and delivers so little really can't expect its fan base to stay the same.
