Embarrassing

Warnes should tell TS the truth that he'll never be a manager, he's clueless . The whole club is a gigantic laughing stock ATM & I for one am getting fed up with zippo coming out of the boardroom.

I will get my boots out because none of those that play for us at present are fit to lace my boots

Im

In fact unless I see something actually real to prove something is being done to show actual proof of ambition and I mean players of league quality not what we have now , because what we have now none are good enough to even step into the Lincoln team , then I am through watching permanently, I have had enough of the crap that the club spurts out .. it is a complete and utter lie what they tell us fans

Embarrassing doesnt even cover it i think you will have to invent a new word for it . I feel we're being taken for fools by the club crap product total silence from TS and anytime soon they club will be trying to flog us all season tickets for next year I for one wont be buying until i hear what the plan for next year is and who is in charge of first team affairs .

Embarrassing is the word.

We ship goals so easily. Twice as many as the side next to bottom. A well organised non-league side should be able to avoid letting in as many as we do, even in the Championship.

We have very few players good enough to keep us in the top half of League 1, and a lot of work needs to be done by a manager who wants to be one and has some qualifications for the job.

Unless I am mistaken, our striker who £2m couldn't buy in January now has one league goal since October - a miscued shot against Wigan that went in via Richard Woods backside.

There is so much that is wrong on and off the pitch, it is hard to stay positive.

Sadly ,we all concur .

The longer this season goes on the greater the despondency. And the miserable thing about it is that its all self made.

Like a marriage vow. Best to get a prenuptial.

Anyone still singing there's only one Paul Warne? Nice guy but clueless buffoon who wants to be everyones mate. Tony has hung you out to dry mate.
This relegation looks IMHO to have been deliberately planned & almost TOO well executed which makes me suspicious.

It's a complete joke and I will never buy a season ticket , I don't care what TS says ...it's all crap anyway complete and utter liar

, anything to sell tickets bull ...you have been found out TS and it will not wash anymore ..Has for deliberate relegation !! Yes I believe you are right , come next season if we find ourselves in the top 6 by any chance which I really doubt , then promotion will be deliberately thrown away .. because our club has finally realized that league 1 is the best we will ever be ... and top end without promotion will be the aim !!

I will no longer support a team going nowhere with no aim or a club who does not care what the supporters get for the money given , if TS is really fair he should not just freeze prices for next season he should reduce them by at least £5 because what the fans have paid for this season is very expensive non league football not a championship team .... all I can say to add to this , is that any one of our present team who thinks they are actually a pro footballer needs to get another job , because not one is worth anything they have been paid full stop . they have stole a wage all season long , I would even fancy my chances against any of them and I'm 52

what springs to mind is no fight , no bottle and no Ba--s over paid rubbish who don't give a crap about anything and have no pride !!

everyone of those so called players should give those wages back in full , because I can bet this much if they did not get paid unless they won they would win a lot more than they have !! But obviously it's too easy to pick up a wage each week far in advance of any of the fans watching will ever get ...greedy useless non footballers , if I performed in my job so badly I would expect to be sacked well before now !! And deservedly so !!

I dont know what's worse ...having the humilation in the national press as we sit listening to away fans chanting were just a town full of peadoes week in week out ! Or watching the team we love, get hammered week in week out and we slide from the championship as the worst team in its history...either way there will be 4 less ST tickets sales from here as we cherry pick which games we attend in L1 next year. Off to watch some much higher quality football today, passion, fight, skill, goals and solid defending ... my lads under 11 match. The 5 at the back should come and learn a thing or 2. Absolutely shocking yesterday , could easily have been 10 to them. Just hope we salvage some pride and can perform vs Wednesday!

Almost thunk we would have been better going down last year. The damage being done at the moment is huge.

I echo that.  I think I've said in on here before my u11s defend better than Rotherham do & make less individual errors - and therein lies the joke - its kids football!

I'm finished for this season, and unless there is more action out of the club I won't be busting a gut next season either - I'd rather go to the arena and watch the Steelers.

It's been intimated above that our decline is done with intent - I believe that too & I think it's part of a root & branch grand design by the board.  We have as I see it a good up and coming youth dept and community setup.  The club have been advertising for UEFA B coaching roles on the FA Licensed Coach website all season long, as opposed to Level 2 coaches which would prbably be the norm?

We really shouldn't return to this league for 5-10 years, and we need serious infrastructure changes if we ever have real intent of being a long term attendent of the Championship.  League 1 players will be used to portakabins.

I've been saying for the last month or two that this season was a planned relegation.

My reasons for this opinion are many, but in the main you don't get businessmen capable of building hugely successful business making the dire, embarrassing free fall decisions and comments we have had this season. Ok, I accept football is not like for like and is always a gamble, but never-the-less where is the planning and strategy for when things don't go the way of plan 'A'? Why continue to make the same mistakes over and over again if it isn't intentional, they're are not stupid.

Why would they do this?………Simple. After two years in the Championship they have seen how much is costs just to stay there. They have seen how much they will have to pump in to upgrade the infrastructure to make us viable and attractive to potential recruitment. They've done their sums and don't like it. Its considered a price not worth paying, I can't say I blame them frankly, not with the home gate numbers we get.. Evans knew it, Warnock knew it and Jackett found out and left, it was even alluded to by several ex players once they left.

Just my opinion of course but when I take everything that has happened this season into account its the only conclusion I can come to that makes any real sense to me.

Even the most pessimistic of conspiracy theorists surely can't argue with any of that. For me its a kick in the guts, if we can't afford it - for goodness sake tell us so and why not - give us some information - some numbers. There is no shame in saying we'd need XYZ or we have a shortfall of revenue for XYZ and while ever that is not forthcoming we are on a hiding to nothing in this league. We're not idiots and actually quite understanding, unfortunately the tac the board take is treating us like idiots and that is personally insulting (even more so to those that make much more effort of following the club that I do)

A comparison with Arsenal would be fun.

There the fans have been saying for many seasons that the board lacks ambition. The manager, clearly installed to support that ambition .

Now, the lack of investment has clearly started to come to fruition on the pitch and still no change.

The ability to manage a top 4 position has been well and truly planned for.

A calculated lack of ambition to maximise profits while continuing to secure their place in the top four as this is where the money and the investment come together.

of course we never planned to be in the championship but by lots of luck there we were...
