very sorry to be a bit picky, but, WHAT THE **** ARE WE DOING HERE AGAIN????? Signing a loan player til the end of the season when we are already relegated ???? If TS can't see that he needs to replace EVERY ****ING PERSON IN THE CLUB RESPONSIBLE FOR PLAYING STAFF, CONTRACTS AND PLAYER SALES, then I'm sorry - but this IS now as bad, if not worse, than the Booths, and I don't say that lightly as it is a very bad insult.
I'm just totally and utterly fed up with the club and we need that fans forum to vent our feelings.... ( I'd like at least 15 minutes 1 on 1 just to get my own questions answered, if I'm honest... )
Calm down Davidedin. Morris has been brought in to have a look at him till the end of the season. If he`s worth signing the club will try to sign him on a season long loan next season, that`s if he agrees to come to us. If he doesn`t improve the squad then he will go back to Norwich at the end of his loan. He won`t be costing us a lot of cash for the next 9 games. It`s not as if we are blessed with plenty of strikers at the moment.
I`m expecting him to start at QPR or at least be on the bench with a view to come on and get some game time.

or in other words Tiger, get him fit at our expense and playing well so another club can buy him : Tavs, Dicko, Hunt... a long list under the jokers who pose as professionals at the club

My original post stands in my opnion...
David, there wasn`t a cat in hells chance of signing Tavs, Dicko or Hunt, be realistic they were brought in to do a job that particular season.
Morris is 21yrs old and has just signed a three & a half year contract at Norwich, doubtful he will sign for anyone permanent anytime soon. I have a relative living down there & a friend that`s a Norwich supporter Morris is well thought of down there. He may indeed go on loan elsewhere next season that remains to be seen. If we can`t sign him then they should be looking for similar players like him, players with potential ( Ben Purrington ) that the club can sell on for a profit.
Have you not heard of "try before you buy " I do notice you`re a glass half empty type of person a pessimistic guy.

Sorry, if I offended you Tiger, I didn't mean to dis your post, the irony is I am a very optimistic person. I'm just saying as I see it in cir***stances the club is driving us towards at the moment.
There's nothing I'd love more as a true Miller to be posting how great things and dishing out love and praise.. as I have in the past in better times.
I agree to try before you buy, but my issue with this one is that it's a waste of money just now with us about to be relegated, and generally that the tactic only works if you have enough sense to pay the price to buy/contract when you find a Gem, like those mentioned.
We seem to do the worst of both worlds : we offer long contracts to people we ought to use 'try before you buy' or at the very least 'pay as you play', and then where we do have loan players we don't follow through with a contract when we find a good one...
It's simply bad business management, and In pure business terms, we can all agree that a) the business has failed to take advantage of the opportunity that being in the championship offered and b) in business terms bad decisions are being made - such as this loan (in my opinion) but much larger ones like not selling Ward. It's this that drives my crazy just now. We've wasted something that was good, and as a Millers fan, it hurts to see it....
