2017/18, who would you keep?

In an ideal world without daft contracts, I would get rid of them all apart from........................

Forde

Frecklington

Taylor

Belaid

JCH

Newell

Smallwood

Yates

Try & get Ajayi & Adeyemi here permanently.

Not saying these players are great, but show promise with the right managerial imput & decent signings. The rest of them are horse s**t & should be driven to the train station & that INCLUDES Danny (I'm not interested anymore) Ward.

Wouldn't keep Taylor, half million pound winger my arris. Wouldn't keep Smallwood, too negitive and more skill in a bag of crisps. Would retire Frecklington befor injury does and get him involved in coaching possible youth due to his image/reputation around the club with the youngef fans. Don't think we will get Anaya & Adeyemi but I'd have em both in a heart beat and finally I think JCH will leave at the end of his contract along with Ward.

We made a massive mistake not selling Danny Ward. What was the point in keeping him? We were never going to stay up, he clearly isn't happy and won't want to be here (playing like that already), and his value will go down rather than up in the meantime. I predict that we will end up selling him in the summer for an undisclosed fee that will be in the region of £250,000.

We always look a better side with Frecklington and he would be quality in League 1 but only if he is going to be fit and playing.

Forgetting the loan players we have, and discounting Ward, I don't think we have many that will be strong League 1 footballers. I would say that O'Donnell, Belaid (if he stops trying to be the next Bobby Moore), Purrington, Newell and Frecks (if fit) are. I actually thought that despite his own goal (which was just unlucky) Vaulks put in the best performance at right back that we've had all season and I wonder whether that might be his position. I think there is some hope for him.

Some of the rest are past their best, and some are just not good enough. Plus, we need to take the opportunity to freshen things up and change the losing mentality that being outplayed every week can leave you with.

O'Donnell is dreadful and not a patch on Price.

Players I would keep are:

Price
Purrington (only because we paid money for him - I prefer Mattock)
Mattock
Belaid
Broadfoot (if we can get him fit)
Smallwood
Newell
Taylor
Frecks
Ward
JCH (we've paid him all this season so he can repay us with some goals)
Blackstock to wash the kit

Sign the two Cardiff lads if we can.

Decent signings required to give us a good squad are:

Right back
Centre back x 2
Ball winning midfielder
Classy midfielder who can control the game
Striker
Wide midfielder

Think Broadfoot might be done Oneaday

Agree about Vaulks - him and Adeyemi looked good yesterday. Ward is a shadow of his former self and the Yates experiment should be stopped now, he's lacking in all areas. Purrington looks dodgy every time he gets the ball, I'd move him on too. Frecks is the only creative player now we don't have Brown but he's a crock so can't be relied on.

Frecklington
smallwood
Belaid
Ward
Newall
Broadfoot

Im not having a go at anyone on here, we all have our opinions but I really cannot see what Smallwood brings to the team. Middlesbrough didnt think he was a championship player so this has been proved. S****horpe didnt think he was L1, hardley got a kick. Only time I have had no issue with him was Lg2. Maybe worth hanging onto then
