Heard from a Cardiff fan that he'd been in the media and said the budget needed to get the squad to the next level was way short of what Warnock thought it needed to be. Maybe that was the issue with KJ - I'm sure we'll find out once he's released from his gagging order.
And in honesty - I've got no problem with that. What smacks of amatuerism is to be told by people who know best sorry club owners you gonna need to throw more at it than that - then to spout all that crap about mid table looking up blah blah blag blag.
I will use the quote of using Salesmen in business (you'll know if you've heard it), those said salesman cannot sell a crap product, the best might be able to do some business but eventually the truth will surface & if B&Q are selling it for more than the little accounts can buy it from you for - you're screwed.
Presumably all the will he won't he was due to talks over the training ground and budget for squad. Plus we'd have still had to get someone else 12 months later even if we had got NW for another year. We don't have the £ but no one wants to admit it seems.
As much as i like PW, Warnock has the experience and nounce to get that last ounce out of every player.
PW as such previously has been a friend with the players as fitness coach, to now be the Boss is a step too far it seems.
Many are out of contract and end of their careers, some will get a gig lower down on 1 year deals, but we are bare bones im afraid, and who's faults that....
But here is the conundrum, we could get NW back, or aomeone else, go up first attempt and then back to square one, because unless he has DIY SOS into either training venues with new facilities, we are still the same as before.
Nothing will have changed.
So invest in the training ground, move this along quickly so in the close season, Then we will have something that any possible future signings coming into the club will be able to see is us moving forward not stagnating, and giving the club a firm base on and off the pitch.
UTM, i for one will be renewing my season ticket for next season, and looking forward to being able to compete rather than not.
Lets hope TS has plans for some more major investing in the squad - as we are gonna need it.
