Adeyemi's wages around double our L1 budget. Undoubtedly for me I would have him instead of two average so that's his wages sorted. BUT does that unsettle next years squad, will they all want an increase, can you pay him double the woods, frecks, smallwoods. What's the answer, who would be a Manager? Would the rest of the squad say .... it why can't I have that much. Answers on a post card.

Footballers accept that they aren't all on a flat rate. We need Adeyemi and should be prepared to pay the cash and accept the consequences if other less desirable players get greedy off the back of it. Anyway we should keep bumping the "massive transfer budget if we go down" thread - surely all of this is nonsense because of the club being flooded with cash next year. After we all bought our season tickets.

NY, I think the club will be in for a nasty shock with L1 season ticket sales. We've been bitten too many times with empty rhetoric...
I suspect a lot of folk, me included, will pick and choose games and only get back on the season ticket band wagon when we see the club sort out their shocking buying and selling personnel...
As I've said many times, if it were my business, I'd have sorted this years back and got rid of the incompetence in this area, it’s been a glaring weakness for all to see.
For me the tipping point in deciding not to renew my season ticket was not the players we didn't get in (although that was bad, and has been bad for 3+ seasons), it was NOT selling Ward for £1.5M to £2M.
For me that was the worst business decision the club has made under TS’s stewardship and , in my opinion, shows they have not learned, not sorted this problem, and won't progress in any league until they do...
