Oh Dear, Oh Dear Mr Stewart

Seems the natives are getting restless. Even some of your more hardcore fans are throwing down their rose tinted specks and demanding answers. Time to come clean. If not give Mr Oysten at Blackpool a call, he knows what comes next blehblehbleh

Even the good times don't last long at RUFC. Relative success followed by crashing public humiliation & failure. We'll be getting the buckets out again & getting the points deductions within five years. Turning down the 2m for Ward (if the bid(s) actually did exist) was the final straw for me!!!

What gets me is we are obviously interested in these players but are terrified about parting with money for them.

The days of getting a Le Fondre for 100 grand are gone, so we seriously need to think how we value players.

im that annoyed fed up with the shambolic running of this club im seriously considering rethinking season ticket

im miller through and through don't get me wrong despite been brought up 10 mins from the sty .
hillsborough miller senior aka Graham Dobson may he RIP made sure i was brought up a red. but why should we the fans pay our hard earned cash to watch it wasted on overpriced food and drink and lackluster performances and warne is like a reluctant groom in a gun shot wedding there because he has too be.

It's about time we were given the truth about our bids for players. Why is it that Omar Bogle has gone to Wigan for a reported fee of less than the last bid we are reported to have made for him. Were these bids ever actually seriously made? It's interesting to note Paul Warnes comments the other day about the transfer bids we had made. They were not only similar to the ones Stubbs made on the same subject previously. They were exactly the same. These are our final bids, the Club needs to get value for money, we won't let clubs hold us to ransom.
Warne is obviously singing of Tony Stewart's Hymn Sheet. While these comments may seem laudable on the face of it why then do we keep trying to sign players who are outside of our current thinking when it comes to transfer fees.
The answer is obviously smoke and mirrors to keep the fans happy and sell season tickets. Well Tony it's not working anymore. The stance that you have taken is an insult to the intelligence of the fans. It may work a couple of times after that it becomes laughable. I have lived in Rotherham all my life and in the main the people of the town are down to earth hard-working people who do not suffer fools gladly neither do they like being taken for fools. Please have a bit more respect for the fans and stop feeding them bullshine. Tell us what your future plans are be honest with us, we can take the truth whatever it is. I am grateful Tony for all you have done for the Miller's
But come clean on your plans and give us the chance to get behind you again. I have given 68 years of my life to supporting the Miller's both home and away and I have brought up my son and my grandson to do the same and there are many more like me. The least we all deserve is some clarity on the future direction of our beloved club.
That's right Tony our Club not only yours. We have invested so much over the years in our beloved Miller's. Please show us some respect. Up the Miller's,Always.

OK, "preparing" may be a tad optimistic but we have certainly relinquished our Championship status with a whimper.

It was unravelling I guess when TS said no to SE. He didnt want to or couldnt spend the money and since then we have witnessed the predictable unravelling when investments stop being made. Investment may also be a tad optimistic, more like sub standard maintenance .

As the excellent post by Codger points out we cannot go on offering pathetic cash and being turned down, it is demoralising.

What a farce it has become.

The clubs reputation is definitely at stake at this time.

I think the reputation of the club has already been ireverseably tainted ian. Why else are we struggling so badly to get a permenant manager in ? Why are we being beaten to players by teams with far smaller budgets ? Why are we struggling to agree personal terms with players ?

Players & Managers alike that have moved on have illuded to this

Not only that but players have their circles - if Douglas comes knocking said player will ring a mate, or a mate of a mate and say - so that Rotherham United... what they all about

And that's were it goes badly wrong
