Alright lads,

Coventry fan here and we've just signed Rawson on loan. What's he like? We are desperate for a dominant centre half so hopefully that's what you will tell me! Please move this if it's in the wrong place.

good luck for the seasonĀ

He is pretty rock steady.

He will be 100% for you no doubt about that.

Good enough in the air and competent positionally .

At champs level we liked him and he held his own and in no way was a contribution factor to any poor displays. Indeed the maturity of his performances and his consistency are his strongest traits, and for a young lad his is strong and fearless.

I lived in Coventry for 14 years and was worried as hell when they sold the old ground ( I lived on swan lane). Im always sad to see what has gone on and genuinely hope your nightmares get better very soon.

Yeah we're not in a good place ATM. In all honesty a lot of Coventry fans don't see a future for the club and liquidation looks most likely. For now anyway hopefully Rawson can help keep us up, thanks for the info

Rawson another one that got away, and before anyone says that's the problem with signing players on loan. The opportunity was there to make Rawson a permanent signing, we never took it. I saw Rawson as the type of player that we could have built a side around, possibly a future captain. Maybe we should make him one of our transfer targets at the end of the season when he returns from his loan spell at Coventry. Just a thought.

Totally agree towd codger. The road to Div 1 for the Millers is littered with the ones that were let slip
