My otherwise quiet and diminutive and lovely Grandma who wouldn't say boo to a goose would often say " the Chinese are going to come and take over everything " . I would have been about 8 when I first heard this. Maybe she was an anxious old lady or maybe an astute armchair political commentator. 

Well, on the political and economic front it's certainly coming to fruition , but our beloved football !?

The premier league long time ago destroyed the sacredness of the beautiful game . It's with mixed pleasure and continued regret that I have to write some 44 years after Grandma first said it to me the same thing:

The Chinese arent coming , they are here.

 Maybe our beloved millers will be next.
