My otherwise quiet and diminutive and lovely Grandma who wouldn't say boo to a goose would often say " the Chinese are going to come and take over everything " . I would have been about 8 when I first heard this. Maybe she was an anxious old lady or maybe an astute armchair political commentator.
Well, on the political and economic front it's certainly coming to fruition , but our beloved football !?
The premier league long time ago destroyed the sacredness of the beautiful game . It's with mixed pleasure and continued regret that I have to write some 44 years after Grandma first said it to me the same thing:
The Chinese arent coming , they are here.
Maybe our beloved millers will be next.
Hahaha hahaha haha

They are, most scary is the increasing inequality gap, in life and in football.
I want to see the PL break away and serve its own, get the real FL serving its own interest non dependent on the PL and get people going to games en mass. Theres something wrong when a PL club can easily afford to operate without having 1 fan through its turnstyles in a season but just show 10 games on Sky
