Just back in from post match celebrations - come on, it doesn't happen that often! Anyway, the recipe: firstly a manager who lives and breathes the club = Paul Warne. A squad which is prepared to give it's all against technically superior players = all 14 players used today. Athleticism and strength at the back - stand up and take a bow Mr Belaid. Strength in midfield - Frecks and Adeyemi magnificent. An enthusiastic and noisy crowd - top marks everyone there today. Confidence - you could feel it growing as the game went on - even Fisher started to show some of his early promise. A magnificent day all round and, if we go down playing this type of football, you'll hear no complaints from me. Enjoy it Warnie, you deserve it!
That's all we expect. We know all about budget constraints so we have to bridge the gap the same way Wimbledon of old did many a year ago. Play with more passion, desire, hunger and aggression than the opposition and we will pick points up.
Redfearn and Stubbs wanted proper football. It doesn't work if you can't compete financially.
It's a shame we've got two really tough away games coming up as defeat in both of those will knock their confidence again.
