What does 'the board will draw up a shortlist in the next couple of days' mean? If it refers to players, surely a manager needs to be appointed first who can advise on what type of players he requires to do his job properly? And what about awaiting the arrival of the new head of recruitment before the 'board' starts delving into matters about which it doesn't have a clue?! Confused!

Secondly, Joe, can we now stop using Jackett's photo in articles about RUFC please? He is not a Miller, he never was a Miller, and he doesn't have what it takes to be a Miller. If you're stuck for a mugshot, stick up Brad's photo!

I think the shortlist is for the manager. Are you saying Brad should be the manager?

If you get the right players in they are a 3 year plan. If you panic buy or only get old crocks then you are executing a short term plan. I don't see how Stubbs wanting 5 and ending up with 14 is a problem if we don't buy rubbish (Yes, I know we did). We would actually have 14 excellent players...

Couldn't do any worse mate. First off I'd play two up front & give Yates a few games alongside Ward & try, just try to drill into them not to be terrified of our opponents, that'd be a start.

I don't quite get the current plan.

Its a mess at present

I do agree with the appointment of Brad to the end of the season though. He's a miller through and through and His postmatch interviews will make jack Dee seem euphoric

Ok so as soon as Brad gets his application in we start the online campaign. I totally agree with Ward n Yates upfront. Can you also get wards contract sorted out.

I'll have a word with big Tone when I'm in post, but I'm going for an 8 year contract payed up in full if I'm sacked.

Shouldn't be a problem. At least if you serve out 8 years you might see Frecks and Broadfoot back from injury! BTW, have you got any badges that all these managers keep harping on about? If it helps, I've got an old Blue Peter badge you could borrow!

Lots of scout badges. .knots, flower arranging (should help with the back four) etc, dunno if the Blue Peter badge would be any use though, also I have O Level Maths which will help in keeping score during the match & counting the goal difference without taking my shoes & socks off (impressive huh?)
