What is happening or rather NOT happening to this site? I know fans are depressed right now, hell even the ultra optimists have hidden under a stone, I know we are relegation certainties, I know the club infrastructure is Conference standard & the Youth policy (if there actually IS one) is a joke, but surely there must be something to discuss??
How about a quiz on how many half season tickets we'll sell? One to ten?....ten to a hundred? a hundred plus? IMO we'll be lucky to sell ten.
Brad I'm an optimist person and genuinely expected this from the millers, I was not sure when it would come, last year, the previous year or next year but the negative winging has stopped me posting (an exception) I do read the comments but then just shake my head. Good luck to all the members who post and I enjoy reading but after one certain individual I will rarely post Utm.
hi brad. im a ultra optamist but never been bothered to post before.dont know why so many people have us down already.went to derby and yes it was p*ss poor but win leeds and burton and its a different picture. UTM
Hi clubskin, good to see you on here. I find the ultra optimists tend to be younger in general, the realists (not pessimists) like myself who have seen the same scenario from RUFC time & time again are probably the ones that are too ****ed off & fed up to post ATM.
With me it's a little bit more complex. Basically I am falling out with football in general. My main problem is that if a player goes down he wins a free kick. I have refereed over 300 games and I can say all I ever gave was what I saw. If I didn't see a foul I never made an assumption that one occurred.
I've cancelled my sky subscription and not missed it.
I have a season ticket and still go. I will buy another one next year too but the best way of describing how I feel is that when I book a holiday I will now book it, THEN look at which fixtures I will miss.
There's not really much to mull over at the minute is there?, we're woefully short on the quality required for this division, losing every single week and I don't think we're in too much disagreement with what has gone wrong.
January will show our intent, if we're truly realistic about staying in this league we'll see a lot of activity, if we don't - we know the board have conceded we can't realistically compete in this league at this present time
I'm with Flicker on this one. I have rarely posted in the last few weeks due to the continuing negativity and, in some cases, hypocritical comments. Talk about "you only sing when your winning" or should that be "support" when your winning? Listening to some of the comments on the forums, "the players show no commitment", "don't fight for the shirt", "can't be bothered" and are "League 1 calibre at best". These comments are no doubt from some of the 8000 that got up and left at 81 minutes against Preston with 15 minutes left to play, the ones that walked out at half time against Derby and the ones who "can't be ****d to go Saturday"!
The players are ALL giving 100%, they are ALL hurting and they are ALL doing everything they can to get out of this mess. None of my posts have ever had a go at any of the players, if you have kicked a ball at any level, you know no-one goes out to lose or to play bad, and when you do lose, it really, really ****es you off!
Unfortunately, Its a vicious circle, wins breed confidence, confidence leads to wins.......We have some very good footballers, especially going forward but, they are so low on confidence that it is now a major issue but, at least the supporters are sticking with them, well, they will do when we win again!!
Yes, we are favourites for the drop.........so blooming what! It's Leeds Saturday, I'll be there, it's RUFC, get off your hands, stop your moaning and support the team......Nuff said!

bang on mate!.some of the personal comments on here ( and elsewhere) beggar belief.ALL the players we have are 100 times better than I was in my prime and probably most of the criticising supporters too. They are doing their best,if it is good enough-great,if it isn,t-well that,s the way it goes.I wonder how some of these so-called supporters would feel if it was their kids being screamed at or even heaven help us themselves.
