The irony of the Boards decision to sack both Redfern and Stubbs surely must not now be lost.

Evans was apparently sacked because the club wanted stability and to build a sustainable model of recruitment and better football. That's right ! Our most charismatic and successful manager sacked .

Hear is a fact of life: success does not come clothed in satin and wearing impeccable manners.

I hope Tony undersrands his otherwise wonderful vision of the New York stadium is not not a Broadway production but instead realises it's a predictable game built on evidence of previous success and knowledge.

Evans until the season end. Doubtful. But, then Brin on the MM site says him and Stewrt meet every week for lunch so watch this space. Trouble is Brin always implies he is in the know. It stems from when he organised some fans to repaint Millmoor. Trouble was we did the work and he talked bull**** to RUFC staff and players. I was there. And he still does on MM.

“I’ve got pride. I don’t like going home on the back of a defeat. It really hurts me. I’m disappointed for the fans. We need to give them something to cheer about. And we need to do it sooner rather than later.”

It took a while but I suppose he achieved something in the end!
