He has to win 5 from the next 8 to be slightly better than Redfern in his 21 matches.

Stubbsy s not bad. He's just been unlucky. When I say that he's been unlucky what I mean is that he has been unfortunate. When I say that he's been unfortunate what I really mean to say is that he's been misjudged and misunderstood. What I really mean to say is that he's been poor.

To be honest it's been pretty hard for him coming up against 1st and 2nd and 3rd.

Not to mention 4th and 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and all the way to 23rd. It's just not fair.

Lets face it he had form............... he found it hard last season coming up against the mighty part-timers of Alloa, Queen of the South, Livingston, Dumbarton, Ayr Utd, etc..... He was in a two-horse race between Hibs & Rangers. The Huns ran away with it & Hibs scrapped over the line on the final day to claim 2nd place and a Play-off place. They take a 2-0 lead from the 1st leg and then get royally humped by Falkirk 3-0 in the second leg successfully securing Hibernian's 3rd successive season in The Diddy League............. and Rotherham offer him the job !! Why offer a man who has only just started out on his managerial career, has failed TWICE in his only mission to get the Hibees promoted back into the Premier and you offer him the job!!!

Hibs fan here. Stubbs had his ups and downs at Hibs. Even though he brought us the best result in the clubs history in May we were still generally not fussed either way if he was to stay or go which said a lot. What I will say is, and I don't mean to sound disrespectful to your team, the common thought up here was that while it was a good time to go, Rotherham was probably the most difficult job he could have went for. Most folk thought he was crazy. I noticed Scott Allan has hardly had a kick which I'm surprised at as Stubbs had him playing some incredible stuff at Hibs and he'd have been more than capable of walking into most teams in the English Championship on his form at Hibs.

Calum62, firstly thanks for the post but the one thing we realise down here is that the gulf in class between the English & Scottish Championship is immense.
Money talks & a lot of English Championship clubs (not us BTW) are able to spend up to 10 million or more on a player which would probably buy half the CLUBS in the Scottish Championship, that's why players like Allan, Vaulks, Tidser, Wilson & Fisher can't cut it down here, because they're not good enough.

Whilst I agree with that to an extent when it comes to the top end of the English Championship, I would say the bottom end English Championship teams are much of a muchness with SPL teams excluding Celtic, and I'd throw Hibs and Falkirk into that mix aswell. We've watched star players come up from the English Championship to Scottish football and been rank rotten time and time again. Barton and Garner at Rangers this season being the most recent examples, and we've seen players such as Donaldson and Grounds who started for Birmingham against you lot tonight not cut it in Scotland but forge decent careers in the English Championship. Even your own Kirk Broadfoot was ridiculed in Scotland as being garbage but has managed to make a decent fist of it down your way. I can assure you that you have a player in Scott Allan, although I'll admit to not knowing much about the rest of them.

Anyway, I do hope you guys turn it around as I'd love to see Stubbs do well but it's not looking likely.

I wish Allan would start to show it. The two words I'd use to describe his time with us so far are overweight & lazy.

If he is overweight that will be his issue. Will be down to his diabetes which he majorly struggles with however it can't be used as an excuse for a pro footballer. Hopefully sorts it out.
