totally ungrounded speculation but his fitness is his nemesis.

He does not seem to have a body that naturally wants to train and metabolise easily.

Maybe that is slow.y changing with age.

He has loads of attributes but I think he needs to play with more support as stubbs is trying to do.

He is great in the air with his back to goal but needs to be the one in the Box much more often.
