John Breckin has just mentioned on't wireless that our players look tired and it reminded me of all the games this season where our possession stats have been in the range of 20's-30's percent. That's surely got to be doing damage to our players fitness levels?

STOP giving idiot managers three year contracts- next time you say you've got a manager with Championship experience, make sure it's the ENGLISH Championship, get Stuart Gray in NOW

No fickleness from me. I stated after the Forest game that Forest allowed us to pass the ball across the defence which made us look to be better than we are.

A decent manager will produce the goods with this squad.

but we can't defend Nell... we won't win more than a handfull of games where we get lucky, unless we fix our leaky defence, As this manager can't do it, we see enough to know that, we need a new one to have a try, Stuart Gray is the obvious choice as he did the same in this league for the Owls, who at the time were a struggling team with poor players - he's our man..

We were awful. .

We are awful.

I'm not fickle either.
I think most who were ready to pull the trigger before forest , still felt it was average but pleasing to show some real fight for once.

We can't confuse players, teams and tactics with bad managers. There has to be some serious tactical changes , of course there does. My problem and most fans problem is stubbs does not give the impression there is a problem.

We need a little more evidence and very soon to stick with him. It isn't changing is it. So, anyone who wants to defend him has to show that evidence.  I'm only interested in improvements . They aren't hard to demonstrate if you know what you are doing.

We just do not have the luxury of a big club to let standards slip while we change.

Can't understand why smallwood is not in the bench...oh!!! That's right , he got rid of a hugely consistent and experienced championship.player after 3 games. He Deffo knows what he's doing.

Of course losing and losing in this manner is frustrating and I know this is a forum where all opinions are valid but I find the negativity all a bit dispiriting. Just my feeling. I've decided that I'm going to go to games, enjoy the fact that we're competing in a league full of European Cup winning and recent Premier League clubs in a fantastic new stadium while ever it lasts, support the team and keep my opinions to myself and the people I go with. What will be will be. Thanks to the people who run the site and good luck to you all. It's nothing personal. I have enjoyed your virtual company.

There is no easy answer but the question won't go away.

Stick
Twist
Wait

Who would be a chairman?

Stick - Start planning your trips to Gillingham, Vale etc
Twist- Try to negotiate a "mutual agreement" with Stubbs & get a manager in with ENGLISH Championship experience!!

22.
Bust!

That's also a problem. If we twist who will come of any calibre?

We don't have a target man who can "defend" from the front . We also have no bite and mobility in midfield.
Smallwood was better than our options today and although past it now Green is the type needed. Stubbs , I don't believe had the knowledge to bring in what was needed. He now needs to be able to change his set up or we are totally doomed.

Disheartening to hear your manager deflect the issues on to the players so blatantly after only a few games.

Nothing short of a visitation from an angel tonight will reveal to him what needs doing.

I'm sure he was a decent manager on Thursday. If we win next Saturday he'll be a decent manager . Just relax and give him time. What's the worst that can happen, we get relegated so what it's been on the cards for three years and it's going to happen sooner or later. Keep smiling it's not life or death 🤗
