Some harsh words

have been written about the Millers' draw. 'A measly point',  some might say.

If Ward had put the ball into the back of the Bristol net to make it 3-0 to the Millers this site would have gone into

meltdown. He and the rest of the team would have all been Man of the Match.

Great game! Great team!

What a difference a goal makes, eh?

On top of all that we could not even blame the match officials for the drawn game.

The match officials were the best I've seen down at  the NYS up to now.

Remember, there are forty more games to play in the Championship!!!!!!!

Other teams did not fare too well over the weekend either.

More to the point we have actually moved up to 20th spot in the table.

Let's be real. We are miles away from being Premier League contenders.

Turning over football managers is not the answer.

As for booing players............mmmmm........ that's not my cup of tea either.

We will succeed. Watch this box.

Up the Millers!

Don't want to be rude but please explain the science behind your prediction. We have played 15% of the season, made poor decisions in the market and have adopted a playing style that capitulates away from home without much effort from the opposition and we park the bus at home conceding 75% of the possession. It's just voodoo to say we will come good - how? Will AS change tactics? What have you seen that I haven't and I've been to all home/away games this season. Blind optimism and hoping for the best will just see us down by Xmas - we need a change of approach or manager if he's insistent on sticking with the 9-0-1 formation. It's time the optimists actually tell us why they are so confident we aren't L1 fodder - I'm struggling to find positives even though I desperately want to. I just see someone who's jumped at the chance to take on a big role having successive oh **** moments.

Andy , does have incredible powers so Im not going to cross him...

I am really worried about stubbs. He seems like a man feeling the pressure. If he is, its self made-even more worrying. If he isnt, then he needs to get results and performances because right now the actual football is so dire that the few decent results must all come about because of Andys voodoo. And, while I believe in Andy's power, I dont think I have the ability to last a season like last years again.

The tantalising thing about the current squad is that there is some sort of potential there. Its very hard to see because he keeps changing his tactics and squad. Secondly, we keep being pushed back so far and consequently overrun its embarrassing. There were times in each championship season when the midfield was totally demolished and perhaps stubbs thinks its a waste to commit them to high during periods of pressure. Problem is that that means we are stuck with what we had V Bristol.

we can go on looking for nuggets of reason and things that might work, but, there is currently too much evidence and experience in the 7 games (dont forget the 5 conceded v Morcambe) to suggest Stubbs is really struggling to know what to do with the players he has brought.

We will succeed.

No mention of which manager will take us forward in my OP.

You will eventually see an emerging image.

No further explanation needed.
