At the moment it is a work in progress and we are not executing his orders well butt Stubbs has got the tactics spot on. At last we have some genuine pace in the team and are creating clear cut chances ON THE BREAK.
By October the players will be much better at defending deep and making the most of break away opportunities.
This is why Smallwood left, he couldn't move the ball quickly let alone make a first time pass and he couldn't pass forwards. Expect to see a big increase in golden chances being created, like the one Ward missed yesterday, over the next few weeks and a more solid looking defence.
Stick with Stubbs.

Millers: 94 successful passes from an attempted 176 in 99 mins of football. That's less than 1 a minute.
City: 499 successful passes from an attempted 582.
If that's the drivel that Crudds is going to serve up then I think I'll leave my season ticket in the drawer and something more interesting on match day. Like count how many sugar granules are in the tin.
