Please click link if you wish to view my photo's from today's trip to the brand new Mill Farm Stadium for the Conference North game between AFC Fylde and Gloucester City.
Former Miller Tony Thompson kept goal for Fylde and had a pretty solid game in awful conditions.
Bradley's Bar attached to the ground is the best i've seen at any level of Football....and reasonably priced as well.
I was expecting something in the region of £3.50-£4 a pint but can't grumble at £2.80 for John Smiths.
Food was £9.95 for the Steak n Ale Pie meal.....could've had Pie and Chips in the Ground for a fiver, but i don't mind paying that bit extra for quality grub.
As i mentioned in my little write up with the photo's, the ground does look a little basic on 3 sides, but it looks like work is still ongoing there, remember it's only been open just over a month, but £18M has gone into the whole site project so i'm expecting more additions and amenities going into this ground in the near future, and they are really gearing themselves up for a future in the Football League.
