Me an all, according to the report, its looking like a done deal, with these words

"Arma was one of the best players in League One last season, scoring 20 goals in 40 appearances for the Sky Blues - and it will be interesting to see how he handles the step up to Championship football with the Millers."

I would love a 20 goals a season striker, when was the last one we had at the Millers? Alfie?

Yet another loan though and two games he's not available for! A decent player I think but a big step up from Coventry to Championship.

Not bothered about the 2 games. A season long loan for a quality forward we couldn't no where near afford will let us strenthen in other areas. The Newcastle fans I know (that's all four) real rate this lad and say he's very close to there choice up front.

Let's muse...

They have winnal and Bradshaw and millions to spend.

We have practically no one we can call a striker and Stubbs and a scouting system unlike any other .

One wonders what this adds up to other than relegation...

We wait in apathy.

Well Ian, we need a striker, so let's hope it happens, whoever it is...

If however, we end up with a statement of "We bid but someone outbid us, OR, he wasn't worth what they wanted" or similar statement from the club, I will be one of many, I think, who will not be renewing their season ticket next season.

We are fed up of being fed the same sob stories and watching the on-field quality get worse and worse and worse since promotion from League 1, due to the lack of investment in the quality of players we needed to keep (Tavs, Pringle, Dicko, Hunt etc), and the lack of activity to land the ones the Managers really wanted (Griffiths, Gregory, Bradshaw etc…)

Oops. ..another own goal in our leaky defence encouraged by an abysmal midfield.

Imagine the discussion between Newcastle and Barnsley.

Newcastle : He's going to Rotherham coz he will be number one there and they don't have a prayer of the top 6.

Barnsley : but, we have loads of strikers and we are going places. If he is good enough he will have plenty of competition here and we are going to invest big in January too.

Newcastle : He's on his way.

It's OK.

We have another 36 hours or approximately 16 hours of daylight to save our season from inevitable and very humiliating relegation.

What could possible go wrong?

Any Barnsley fans looking in who could possibly explain this diabolical and deceitful theft of another target from under our noses? Not satisfied with consigning us to ignominy over the weekend, you now turn off our life-support and condemn us to obscurity! Call yourselves Yorkshire folk! Hang on, that's exactly what a Yorkshire man would do!!

Ah well, there's always tomorrow and one or two gems that will be revealed in the pandemonium that will precede 2300. Come on Alan, pull something out of the hat!!

Thank God for the cricket!!

If that's true it suggests AGAIN that we have ZERO ability in whoever is managing player/agent negotiations.. we fail again and again and again and again to land our targets.

I will cheer the team on this season but I won't be paying for another season ticket, sorry, I'm just fed up of it.... our off the field staff set up is totally ****ing useless... Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I hate myself at moment.

I must say though that this seems to me to be by far the worst situation we have been in...

In Allah we trust as he seems to be the only one who can get things done these days.

In all seriousness 😉 one wonders what is going on with TS and Stubbs. Surely the **** is flying and the tension gunna explode if something very positive doesn't happen. There will be recriminations and it ain't gunna be pretty.

Come on RUFC show us pull us a few rabbits out and make us all look faithless pillocks
