like i said, I think they realise that they messed up and clearly didnt put the shift in.
Id like to see a little more like that from stubbs too...
good to see that in this game we love that appropriate anger can be expressed (even somewhat over the top anger) and people dont throw the dummy out. Its football and its quite unique historically and the relationship to fans is unique. long may it continue.
I have delayed posting on here for a while because I wanted to reflect on what has happened.
In a nutshell I still think we have been caught with our pants down. We are a month behind everyone else. What did we expect.
On reflection I think we have to acknowledge that with the best manager in the world we would still be at the bottom of the pile for decent players. I'm a Rotherham fan and if I was offered better deals elsewhere I would take them. We just cannot compete on price.
What we can compete on is simple logic. It's 11 v 11 out there. We need to get fitter, smarter, stronger, sharper and more determined.
Or we could roll over - admit we are wimps and await relegation.
Personally, if I was playing for Rotherham United I would give my absolute all to avoid relegation and an inevitable huge reduction in wages.
As for Stubbs and Tony Stewart - although I do believe they gave our competition a 2 mile start in a marathon - they can turn it around with a lot of effort.
