Cheers Ian, but as there's not really anywhere to sup - we'll be making the mass trek from Swinton in the car! - it's good that way as can get away to watch the Steelers in action in the European Cup after. Gotta keep it mellow though as got a Christening on Sunday. Again thanks!

Cool.

What kind of crowds do they get these days. I briefly went in the mid 90s and they were getting 10k regularly. Must admit always enjoyed it.

What time is face off ?

I went in md 90s - the Ron Shudra era (he's still got legend status). Face Off is at 7. The quality of hockey isn't as good as it used to be, I remember a Russian winger and he was immense but forget his name. Generally they only draw around 7k, its still a spectacle though - most underrated sport in the country. They lost their 2 away games in the Champs League, 5-3 & 8-1, and now play both teams at home, if they can turn a score round they should go through as its a group of 4 and only bottom team drops out at this stage.

interesting to here the quality has dropped.

I do agree that its probably quite underrated and it is certainly a great spectator sport.

you are going to have a great day of sport.
