While many of our supporters froth at the mouth after our defeat against Morecambe, there are some of us who have realised that Alan Stubbs is in a game of brinkmanship with Tony Stewart. Tony has demanded more goals and attacking play and so far Stubbsy has shown that he can recruit players who will help us find the net. However, he will have told Tony Stewart that this will mean we need more pace at the back as we play higher up the pitch. Tony I assume will have said " we have some cracking defenders here already pal, I'm not parting with any more brass for t' defendersl" Stubbsy, then uses a meaningless cup tie against Morecambe to highlight the issue, supplying Tony with a perfect example of why we need pace.

Well done Stubbsy for showing a bit of nouse. 

More pacey defenders to sign: mark my words.

Also got a feeling Tony will respect Stubbsy all the more for it once he has twigged.
