No. Like S8Miller says Grant Ward and one striker.

Grant Ward has been injured for the last three week's hence why he didn't play against us in the behind closed doors friendly and didn't go on Spurs tour to Australia.

Ward is now fit and raring to go. Let's hope it's with us.

Not convinced we'll sign Grant Ward either because the chairman has announced we're after him. This will probably lead to someone else coming in for him. Hope I'm wrong though.

Already said this for Wolves game min' G Ward & a Big striker in. Hoping Mattock is fit.

 Sorry t use you as a quote S8 but:

1.we wont sign Grant Ward, why would we, we have 4 players of his ilk already (luv the guy t bits but where ya gonna play him ( bearing in mind Stubbs signings are all mid field))

2. Chance of a "decent" striker in time to make a difference, hmmmm, not that confident.

3. By the time the club, by which i mean T.S down t the girl who serves my beer gets its arse sorted out, we will be behind in the points to a state with even N.W input will be mission impossible

Yes, we will not get the striker we were told was never going to join the club anyway.

I would love to see a few surprise names sign for us from the Premier League on loan but i doubt it. Reine-Adelaide or Akpom from Arsenal. Adam Armstrong from Newcastle. Will Keane or James Wilson from Man Utd. Anyone really :D

As for the answer - I'll say No too - good strikers cost money and 1 if we're lucky but not 2.

Consensus is clearly NO Some work to do Stubbsy to ensure we have a fighting chance from day 1 and are not 3/4 games down before we fetch a goal scorer ( or 2 ) in. We were desperately lacking up top v Scunny ..

Looks almost impossible.

They are very rare.

Should not have let the 2 we has go.

However , I appreciate the new boss has a plan and he is not 100% in control of it.

Looks like Ward going to Ipswich and we signed a crocked 30 something free agent central defender. I'm usually the most optimistic person pre-season but this time round I'm fearing the worst as one target after another seems to end up elsewhere.

 Unfortunately I wasn't wrong.

That's 3 major targets we've announced and 3 we've lost out on.

Stand by for a string of signings that nobody else wants.

They'll be quality though!
