Yates seems to have an eye for goal. He runs the channels and works hard. He seems to have developed physically. I would rather give him a chance than get overpaid players with average goalscoring records in on loan. You can't all of a sudden pin all of your hopes on an untried 19 year old, and I have no doubt that we will see a couple of strikers come in over the next week or so who will jump ahead of him in the queue, but I really hope he is given some game time and opportunity under Stubbs. How else will we ever know if he is good enough?
