My Photo's...Scotland Tour 2016

Please click link if you wish to view my photo's from my Scotland trip this week.

Unfortunately i had to knock 3 planned games on the head......Edinburgh City v Hibs was an all ticket sell out......East Fife wasn't accessable because of a ScotRail strike, and Hamilton v Eastleigh was played behind closed doors as safety work was being carried out on the main stand.....the fantastic Homeless World Cup in Glasgow made up for them though, a thoroughly enjoyable event.

Ha ha like it Slider....i was trying to think who he reminded me of. biggrin

Amazing life story behind him and many others that took part in this fantastic event....really inspiring and as i watched the highlights on STV all week in my hotel room at night the stories were coming thick and fast.....the Indonesian goalkeeper had his leg cut off above the knee, and the other leg had no foot......his stumps were bagged up and protected....no prosthetic legs, just bagged up stumps....you ought to see him get around the penalty area....like sh-it off a shovel.....i only saw one game of his, they lost 5-2, but he made some outstanding saves and he got chaired off at the end by both teams to the best and most emotional ovation of the week.....not just for the sympathy vote, but for sheer admiration.
