Well here we go again. The only way we are going to see any extension to the ground is if we top 8000 season ticket investors, but the only way we will see 8000 + investors is if we see the intention on the pitch Saturday afternoons. At the moment we cant field a side to play Grimsby in a pre season friendly.
Joe's avatar picture just sums up how far we are behind everybody else.
Green containers/portakabins,
Superb Ground - Tick Great Fans - Tick
the rest is woeful, and i for one am getting restless with TS, even my son who is working in Honduras at the moment says we are doomed.
I dont think we will go down, but how can he say 8k season ticket sales before the ground is upgraded, when the product on the pitch is the reason for us turning up every week, get the product right then the punters will buy in. Simples.
I know the season hasn't started yet - but why pay for the extension when we haven't even got a team yet, invest in the team.
I make a 260 mile round trip for every home match, even my daughter is coming with me now, yes a 20yr old wanting to be with her dad, because all she hears is great stadium, great fighting spirit etc, etc.
TS shape up and stop with the PL ambitions, when the day to day is shocking.
