Bit of a pathetic response from a professional footballer. Being prepared to move to where you're wanted goes with the territory and if you aren't prepared to accept that then get a different job.
Wouldn't it be amusing if Aberdeen were the only club to come in for him now?
What a silly boy!
We will be in same position next season where we are scratching around for players. It is the younger players we need to be signing on lengthy contracts so that we can build a team.
Presumably to give him a chance to see if he can settle up here, probably a season long loan with an option to buy. If he's unsure about leaving all his mates behind, it gives him and us a chance to look at each other and see if it can be a successful marriage, or an amicable split.
In the cir***stances, may be a good thing. Wouldn't want to waste money on a player who becomes unsettled and homesick, as a few have done in the past.

... a loan though - despite it being season long doesn't it mean he can be recalled at any time?, so if he starts playing well he will be the same as Dicko, Hunt etc.... (ups the price for someone with more than 50p in the budget to buy 'em)
Happy that we've got someone at least and benefit of doubt and all that and I hope he turns out to be brilliant for as long as we do have him.
Still 5 permies needed?? (two strikers at the very least now JCH has wilted away..)
