2 million is just too much. Too much for us. Too much for a 27 year old with a good season in league 1 However, it is this kind of player that spans where we are and where we want to go. for a really big team they wouldn't entertain him For a slightly bigger team than us he is probably spot on. Thats the dilemma. __________________

totally agree but also we have had a bid 250k rejected and barnsley have now gone in with 350K im sorry but from looking a bradshaw he is well worth us breaking our transfer budget record for what we paid for those high scoring dynamic duo of jch and bowery. __________________ HM

If we are serious about progressing as a club we really must try not to be frightened about paying fees that are a little higher than we're used to, unfortunately this is the footballing world we're living in. If we keep shopping in the footballing equivalent of Poundland, eventual relegation will follow. __________________

Thats right Brad. At some point they are going to have to take the risk. I notice when stubbs arrived he used the mantra 'quality over quantity' we need to start to see some quality to survive __________________

We certainly aren't seeing quantity at the moment. July and no squad in place - 5 weeks from first game of the season. __________________
