Before any barmpot says it doesn't affect us, it only takes ONE bad season.
I can't believe that Football League Chairmen actually approved this. Any fan of a L1 or L2 club who actually ATTENDS one of these games are actually mentally ill, they'ed be like Turkeys voting for Christmas.
If the assembled "suits" get their way & this "experiment" is successful, then games like Gillingham v Stoke City B WILL become the norm before the end of this decade, just like Germany& a few more countries.
As fans, we have to stop this & stop the Greed League sucking the history & tradition out of the game!!!!!
The real problem with developing home grown talent is the Premier League clubs hoarding all the best young talent many of whom have only a very small chance of ever playing in their first teams. In the past these kids would learn their trade in the lower leagues not some sterile premier league accademy. I wish the FA would have the balls to sort out the real problem and not inflict ridiculous 'solutions' on lower league clubs and their fans.
It will be men against boys and there will only be one winner......
The point is not who will be the winner. This is an experiment by the suits to see if the lower league fans will accept PL reserve sides in the JPT or whatever its called. If they do, we will definitely have MAN UTD B, ARSENAL B ETC in the league before the end of THIS decade.
