Great comments from Mark Burchill. I think my Scottish neighbours would do well to read this. As Many Hibs fans have shown, there is a lack of understanding of the lure of the English leagues and how poor the general standard is up here. The stock response always is the history of the clubs, cup competitions and European competitions, but it is technically much easier for Scottish clubs to progress and qualify.
