Was hoping we could do a Bournemouth and maybe luck our way into the premier league on a shoestring.
However just read in paper that the cherries have been fined 7.6m for going over the permitted losses of 6m in their promotion season.
Their losses were 38.3m - bloody hell!
It makes me laugh when people compare us in the same sentence as Bmth, Evans did it way too much. The only time we were on an even keel was when we both suffered points deductions. They are backed by a lot of money who judging by those figures were going to throw everything at it to get to where the profits are - the PL. The biggest problem for them is one day those backers are going to want a return and the size of their club and stadium unless they develop fast and the demand is there - they will suffer deeply - almost Pompey style. Still obviously jealous but while their fairytale continues each and every fan must fear the dark clouds on the horizon
