Forest-but their chairman nice bloke that he is-I met him last week at the motorway services after the game-wants to sell and hasnt really had the focus needed.

Newcastle-of course, but it might be a little to much like managing a bunch of premier league prima donnas

Villa-as above-where is the challenge?

Likewise some of the big clubs in the championship wouldnt want him due to his style and history. so , even if the likes of Derby, wednesday (lol) middlesbrough, Brighton dont go up they wont come calling.

Wolves?
Ipswich?

Both not likely but maybe wolves ...Jackett is a good manager though and again would the wolves fans see it as progress.

Bristol have just committed to LJ and although hes not my kind of manager he has done ok.

any I have missed that others think are more suitable than the millers?

In addition ian, NW has stated he wants one more year, how many Championship clubs would be looking as short term as that. Its my guess/hope that with the right package and commitment re training ground he'll spend that one more year with us - to finish what he started and to leave a lasting legacy of stability on and off the pitch.

Apparently McDermott is under pressure at Reading. They have disappointed after a decent start. Geographically it might work for him. The question is a fair one though - which club would want a manager who admits he might just want one more year and maybe not full time? Are we sure that is what we want? Or would it better to thank him for a wonderful achievement, write the cheque for the bonus earned (presumably), give him eternal legendary status and move on?
