MK Watering hole?

It appears a lot of the boozers near MK stadium do not allow away supporters!!!

Just found the "Bletchley working mens club" (MK2 2SQ) that sounds rather good on the t'internet. 1.7 miles from the ground.

Opens up a large room for away supporters, Sky and BT sports and reasonably priced ale (what ever that means).

Sounds good enough for me and my fellow car sharing Millers biggrin.

S8, I gave them a call and the guy said that there is a large Sainsbury's car park directly opposite the club that allows you to park for 40p an hour. Happy days!!

Possibly Helpful info from the official site

Car parking is also available for £5 at the Islamic Centre at Granby and at Castle House on Dawson Road. Supporters should be aware that these car parks are not officially run by the Club, but we are pleased to highlight all parking options for matchdays.

Drop-off/pick-up is permitted at gates 4 and 7 as well as outside hotel reception, although collection outside hotel reception will be limited post-match to allow for egress of pedestrians and movement of the visiting team coach.

A taxi rank is provided at the Pick Up Point at Gate 7.

Patrons should park considerately in the industrial areas surrounding the stadium and NOT in the parking areas of the nearby retail and trade outlets, or in areas signed as privately owned (such as Granby Trade Park) where there is a risk of clamping.

No football parking is permitted at the Asda store adjacent to the stadium site or at the MK1 retail park. A Parking Charge Notice of £60 will be issued for cars identified as parking for football or those exceeding the two-hour parking period.

Risk of clamping mmmmmmmmm, outlawed quite a while ago. park in the industrial estate just around the corner we did, quite a hike from Bletchley to MK though, 30 minutes to walk to the stadium from the Sainsburys car park opposite the WM club.

30 minutes maybe a little far (getting lazy in my old age!)? Might have a few beers and then drive (not me, my teetotal chauffeur) and park at the stadium or industrial estate or, get a cab?
