This Saturdays match bigger than ......

WEMBLEY !!!

in regard to outcome, if we win this one, we are in a better place than MK in regard to staying up.

As discussed Worcester, I think this is huge for this season for all the obvious connotations over the next 5 games.

It is , I guess bigger than wembley as at Wembley we were not in danger of losing what we didnt have.

The championship is really magic and I wouldnt want to be anywhere else.

The feeling of drawing with Derby was such an amazing feeling that it rivaled Wembely, which I still cant make sense of.

If we beat MK , then I am certain to feel very happy but not elated until its a mathematical certainty

I will feel elated if and when we stay up however and again strangely enough more than last season.

I guess it might be that Id given up on it towards the end of Redferns reign , while last season I always thought we would be ok.

We need to keep our discipline on the pitch. The opposition will try again to ruffle our feathers.
That may well be the undoing of the MK Dons.

Agree with that. MK Dons will be desperate. For them it is a must win game. All the noises Robinson is making suggest he is losing it a bit. Keep our discipline and keep it tight for half an hour and/or get the first goal, and they might get ragged.

I don't think this is a must win game. The game is not as important as it could have been.

Football fans like to come out with mystical nonsense and romanticise fixtures.

We could lose against MK and then win the next 5. Talk of a must win game is rubbish.

It will be a must win game if we need to beat Hull to stay up.

It's a must win for MK Dons, it's a don't lose game for us.

I am not sure which bit of '...for them it is a must win game...' TTB didn't understand. He goes on to explain why it isn't the be all and end all for us if we don't win. I haven't seen anyone say we have to win it. Good grief. I think most people would agree that MKDons will themselves be thinking that it is vital for them to beat us on Saturday if they want to stay up. For us a defeat wouldn't be the end of the world, a draw would be a good result and a win would be fantastic.

Mk could lose Saturday and then win their next 5 games.

How is it a must win for either of the teams?

We heard this kind of over-hyped crap before we played Charlton and Bolton. We lost both, now look where we are.

Stop trying to make the game something it isn't.

Blackwell and Warnock aren't, neither should our hysterical fans,

Someone left the asylum doors open again!

TTB - this is a sensible site where you don't need to engage in extreme provocation to be heard. Everyone's opinion has value and just because you shout louder or behave more irrationally doesn't make your comments more important. Try putting your views across in a more mature and reasonable fashion and someone might take you seriously. Otherwise you'll just been seen as the attention seeker that I think you really are.

Lets talk football. Play same side as against Bristol C if all fit apart from D Ward for Best. Belaid on the bench as cover.

yes, Im wondering if Best should give way for D.Ward...

not sure. I know Best is key to this formation but maybe theres a change in the air.

JCH has not impressed NW.

I also would start with Danny Ward instead of Best, but both will play some part in the game whichever starts. It is very demanding to play up front on your own and Ward might be a bit fresher, Best having played most of the last two games. I think a lot of Joe Newell and would like to see him get more minutes but it is difficult to leave anyone out of the recent starting eleven barring injury.

True but about as likely as a 5000/1 shot winning the Premiership ... oh wait.  But you get my point, chances of a team winning 5 on the bounce when they have not put two consecutive wins together all season is pretty remote wouldn't you say?

How is it a must win for either of the teams?

Certainly not a must win for Rotherham that is for sure (I think this has been said before now several times already, so let's put this to bed once and for all eh?  Stop repeating things as fact that no one is saying).  However, to go nine points clear with 5 games to go could be a catastrophic blow to the MK Dons survival hopes - see answer to 1 above.

Did we?  I don't recall.

Stop trying to make the game something it isn't.

3,000 travelling fans may disagree with you that this game is not important to them

Blackwell and Warnock aren't,

That's their job, take the pressure off us and pile it on them.  It's called good management.

neither should our hysterical fans,

Why not?  Fans have, since football began, talked in the pub, at the game, at work and now on message boards and social media about the team and their prospects.  That's why the majority of us are here, to talk about the team we love and football in general.  Maybe you could try joining in the debates in a more mature and intelligent way rather than just spouting drivel, carping on from the sidelines and basically annoying the good folks of MB.

I would class the game as a "not lose". I personally would take a point now, keep the 6 point gap with another game crossed off for MK Dons to try and close the gap.

We've already got the points in the bag. MK Dons have to go on a long winning streak to rise up the table.

There is now a great deal of pressure on the MK Dons to come up with the goods.

I'd settle for a point.

MK Dons may try too hard though to win all three points. wink

Meanwhile on another plain The Good Lord Phorc sits musing over other worldly events.

His name is often used in vain when some football pundits become upset when they hear that The Mighty Millers have triumphed

once again.

I can hear one of those pundits now as he mumbles under his breath, 'Damn and Phorc, the Millers have beaten the MK Dons'.

At least it sounded like 'Damn and Phorc'.
