Good loan move that. For whatever reason it seems he isn't going to figure for us. At Bradford he will be involved in some big games as they are in the hunt for a play off spot. Bit of an odd season for him. His performance in the midfield against Reading at home was one of the best individual performances I have seen for us this season. He clearly has some quality but seems to have fragile confidence. Maybe a good run of competitive games will do him good.
He was highly rated among most Man U fans and it was a surprise to them when he was released. Perhaps proper game time rather than reserve matches would do him good. Would hate to see him leave without having the real opportunity with us first.
I agree with both Towdlad and Hillsborough. We don't know what attitude these players have to their profession, but assuming that Tom Thorpe is a good young pro who wants to work hard and learn I have seen enough in him as a player to think that he might have a future with us.
