COLLATERAL DAMAGE

Permalink

Following Karanka's walk out after defeat at NYS, it seems that Derby are in talks with Harry Rednapp to assist Darren Wassall who is still suffering from PTSD as a result of Saturday's amazing come-back. Mick McCarthy must be really looking forward to Saturday's visit by the ticking time-bomb that is RUFC!!

Don't think Mccarthy will ever under estimate us he always likes to beat us loved it when he was at Barnsley , but we owe them one after what they did to us at NYS ,but his teams always take some beating although we are in good fettle at moment .

There was something about that comeback...as the trainer in Rocky says;

" we hit em so hard that it ill rattle their ancestors".

Ipswich in comparison to Derby will be much easier, and it needs to be given the way they annihilated us for 83 minutes.

They obviously arent as good and will be slower and more direct.

Given our form its possible to be odds on for a draw.

Ipswich (my least favourite ground) and McCarthy are always hard games.

A draw would be great.

It would be great to be out of the bottom three over the International break. After the work that the players and staff have all put in over the past month, a two week break to continue to build, get all the guys rested/fit and plan to go again, could not be better timed!

As for Saturday, Ipswich will not fancy playing us at the moment, 10 points from the last four games, unbelievable!!

UTM.

Though forever hopeful I fell we may not get much out of the Ipswich clash. Still plenty of opportunities before the season is over.
