Talk about a tale of two halves.

First half, we had nothing, mistake after mistake, just abysmal Boro finishing kept it at 0-0.

Second half, much, much better, tighter at the back, midfield functioning well, from about 70 minutes looked a threat.

We now have genuine hope.

BTW; HOW IMMENSE WAS SMALLWOOD TONIGHT? Best single display of any Millers player this season IMO, THE GUY JUST REALLY WANTED IT!!!

Another great victory on NW's impossible mission. Some real hardworking performances tonight against an extremely competent side who thankfully had an off night in front of goal. As important as NW is, Frecks is just as important on the pitch. When he plays we have desire and rarely lose. Only down side for me was JCH's lack of appetite. Yes he set up the goal but for a youngster on for the last 20 I expected a lot more endeavour. His lack of energy to keep up with a Frecklington break in the final minutes was embarrassing. Bit of work required from NW there. Roll on 4 wins on the bounce!

Indeed.

Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.

JCH seems the only one still cold. I won't say much more tonight about him. Just relishing the win.

You saw two sides of JCH last night, the brilliant - he made the goal with his strength, the defender couldn't handle him and thet that lovely little lay off across the 18 yard box was sublime, Frecks really couldn't miss. But then you saw the ugly, with minutes of the game remaining and backs to the wall with 10 men, JCH couldn't muster a challenge or lay a glove on any of their players, looked lethargic and uninterested in helping his team mates out to keep the win. Thankfully the other 9 defended with their lives and put their bodies on the line for the cause.

JCH will be a good player and he probably needs a NW t bring it out of him.

Hence JCH being on the bench - all the rest of the players were up for it.

JCH, by the sound of it wasnt, and NW had seen this already, maybe he will get a start on Saturday Best and JCH up front.
