Tuesday's game

I'm getting in early with Tuesday's HUGE game...

Boro are not prolific scorers - they have only scored 8 goals more than us this season POSITIVE

They have the tightest defence in the champ NEGATIVE

They've only won 4 of their last 10 (we've won 3) POSITIVE

They've beaten us the last 4 times with an aggregate of 9-2 NEGATIVE

They've failed to score 14 times POSITIVE

We will be big underdogs and that's always a plus! POSITIVE

Neither side likes a draw, so I'm going for a Millers win 1-0, probably a scrappy goal from inside the 6 yard box

We haven't won three games on the bounce this season - Negative.

We now have a team of players working for each other - Positive

We have learned how to keep a clean sheet - Positive

We now have NW who knows how to set up a winning team - Positive

The positives outweigh the negative

To be fair, the teams are poles apart...

I think in our current form we'll put up some resistance. Sorry.

I think this will be a game to many and too soon. Boro are a different class in this division and I think they ave stepped up for the run in. We will be tired and dare I say sacrifice this game and save ourselves for next Saturday. I'm going 0-3 and a 2-1 next Saturday.

I know what you are saying Fliker. It might also be significant that Boro last played on Friday and an extra day to recover might make a difference. I wonder though whether NW will be able to make a few changes without it weakening the team. I realise it goes against the old mantra of not changing a winning team but for example if he wants to go 442 he could start Best and JCH up front with Newell and Thomas wide, and it doesn't look a worse line up to me. They are all fresh and hopefully raring to go. Just a thought. Boro will be a challenge whoever we put out. I haven't read too many complaints by the way about Sir Neil playing 451 on Saturday. He very definitely did. We had 3 in central midfield and G Ward right with Derbyshire left. Derbyshire was trying to get up to make a 2 when he could and sometimes he and D Ward swapped briefly but second half he was like an auxiliary left back most of the time. It worked, and if you get a win the managers tactics rarely come in for criticism.

TBH the last three times we've played Boro, we haven't had a kick...but under Warnock we should put up more of a fight.

I seem to oscillate a lot between the two frequency's as I am essentially an inverter -introvert.

It looks like a draw to me.

Thats right Brad, they have demolished us each time. I cant remember a more one sided game than the one at NYS. We did get JCH (I think) sent off thought...

Brad we have had a kick against Boro. 2 in fact.

1 Revell got one in the head and their defender didn't get booked.

2.Bowery got sent off for kicking when he didn't - so that was a kick in the nads.

WATTS that all about?

Correct Heman. Revs was karate kicked - no foul. Bowery swung his leg clear after being held - red card. Two down with ten men - game over. We owe them one. We need to mark Clayton out of the game like we did Bannan. Clayton was their conductor last season. Boro will be up for it but if we can start quickly and generate a good atmosphere in the NYS, we could coulomb down and maybe take the points.

The last 3 times also involved Smallwood AND Green in centre midfield - that's why!

Their left back captain also who is very adept at getting forward seems to enjoy playing us.

Boro are even better than Wednesday, I'll go for a plucky 0-1 loss

Millers will reverse current form for me and I will go for a ohm win shocker...Halford should alternate with Broadfoot and plug any gaps in defence and we should get the 3 points.

Thomas ought to play and use his electric pace and burn up the earth..

Ward will likely lead the attack and we could switch him after 70 minutes

We must not play off and on in this game but stay live for the full 90 minutes plus any extension and it should be a good game even for the neutral.

After Saturday we must stay grounded and work hard to turn it on again.

One BIG negative, is I wont be there,

But i will be there in thoughts and willpower to guide the mighty millers onwards and upwards.

I couldnt believe what i saw on Saturday, and i am sure many of the players will be kept firmly on the ground by the mighty Neil Warnock, Love him or hate him, he sets us up well, i dont expect much from tonight but what we need is a Faraday Cage around the box to stop the Middlesborough scoring signals getting through.
