Getting sacked in the morning!

Leeds 4-0 down at half time.

A poor run of results

The butcher in charge

Bye!

I'm glad you enjoyed walking out at Helen' s road more than Wembley because now you have lost the respect of all the fans and possibly the loyalist grateful fans you are ever likely to get.

I hope not Ian. Too easy for him. He would say they would have finished top half had they stuck with him. I hope they stick with him and all his excuses are denied him. Give him enough rope to hang himself, so to speak.

we need him in the job so our players can be even more galvanised into stuffing the two idiots who used to coach them when we beat them in a month

One or two papers are reporting he has been fired. It's a shame if its true. I would have liked him to have more time to mess it up. In a way the fact that Cellino is trigger happy will help Leeds on this occasion. They will be rid of him before he has a summer to recruit badly and ruin them. On the plus side for Teflon Evans, he can walk away and say he was on the verge of something good and blame the impulsive chairman for not giving him time. His CV (which may already be out there) will still be intact. Somebody will give him another job. He will be after a relatively big club that is under performing where they will give him money to spend relative to the division they are in. Portsmouth would have suited him but Cook is doing ok there. Maybe Sheff Utd if they run out of patience with Adkins. Wherever it is it will no doubt be the best club he has ever been at.

They are slowly being found out - like pardew at crystal palace.

All the hate towards Evans is shocking. Arguably our second greatest manager in history and you lot wanting him to fail wherever he goes, calling them idiots etc.

Mind boggeling.

 deluded

this man may have given us 2 promotions but his transfer policy over  those years has come back and bit us badly.

you cannot deny his recruitment policy was disastrous and has taken another manager to get the best of them by man managing them properly

and yes i want him to fail

I've got to be honest and say this, although not everyone's cup of tea, there's no denying the success we have had as a club under his control. Yes, he definitely unorthodox, his transfer dealings leave a lot to be desired, and he's not really a nice bloke, but when he came he said it would be a rollercoaster, and it has been.

So, i thank him for what he did for us, but as soon as he moved on, so did i, and so should everyone else, in my opinion.

I have no beef with Evans but if Leeds were to go down instead of us I would worship him.

I wish Evans nothing but a lack of success. I find it hard to move on MMM - Evans really gets under my skin and I hate the fact that TS ever took him on - but I will try harder.

im neutral really.

I did respect him and really enjoyed his period here but his comment on leaving RUFC was enough for me to see he had little affinity with not only the club but bizarrely his achievement.

Now, I just enjoy following his drama until I get bored of it...just like MR Evans really.

I am indifferent to Evans' future. He got the Millers promoted twice and for that he has my eternal thanks. His methods worked, even though they were suspect, and more than likely he only succeeded because Tony backed him financially. As far as I was concerned, there were no plans to develop players or retain a core of settled players, and whilst this was being addressed by Neil Redfearn, he took his eye off the primary objective, which was to remain in the Championship, and was also shown the door.
If Evans is good enough, he will succeed, otherwise he will be found out and fall back to his correct level, there is no need for us to wish him to fail, he can manage that all by himself.
In the meantime, Warnock will use his man management skills to get the players up and willing to fight. Despite many fans showing their frustration at several players and branding them not good enough, (because they have not immediately clicked into top gear), I still believe that with some confidence instilled, we have the nucleus of a good team. Players need nurturing, particularly when they are not playing to their true potential, which is why we need to support their efforts, in the way we did on Saturday.
I always found that the boo boys invariably picked on a player who then lost more confidence, thus proving the boo boys to be right, i.e. an ever increasing vicious circle that only the strongest willed players can break out of. ( e.g. Kirk Broadfoot). Others such as Ryan Taylor never recover from the constant carping and have to leave to try elsewhere.
Here's hoping our new found collective voice lifts the players to new heights at the Sty.

Evans was manager for 3 great seasons I loved that ride and I would always shake his hand and say thank you. Steve evans never bought a single player at Rotherham the administrators did, they did the deals they signed the contracts. Yes his constant desire for change was flawed in the end and his approach to man management caught up with him, but we wouldnt even be in the championship or had a great day at wembley if it wasn't for Evans, remember that

do i hope he stays at Leeds yes because they are falling fast and that suits us, but the fact he peaked at Rotherham is a blessing not a curse
