Haha, yeh, but this game shows you how inept the refs are, he made an obvious, blatant mistake giving them the pen, and i'm sure he was shown/told so at half time.....second half he gave us everything, guilty conscience perhaps, it's not right, but it happens in football, it really shouldn't and refs have to get much better and professional than what we saw today.
I dread to think how many players would've been sent off or yellowed if we'd had the same ref as at Reading on Tuesday.
He booked any Millers player that so much as breathed on an opponent in the first half at the Madjeski, and to say today's ref was lenient by contrast is a huge understatement.
The Bees left back wouldn't have seen the first half out with Tuesday's ref after all the tugs on Halford's shirt, which should be stretched big enough now to even fit me.
Consistency is the key word and in the space of 4 days we've seen one extreme to the other.
Thankfully his biggest botch up today with the penalty award didn't do too much damage for us in the end, as it did with Smallwood's non-penalty and atrocious booking on Tuesday.
