MILLERS BANTER PREDICTION LEAGUE FIXTURES( NO 32)

Permalink

The heat is on...and off the pitch.

Teams search desperately for the last ditch formula to secure whatever means will solve the immediate issue.  Top teams; oneaday, S8 and Ian, splash the cash to acquire that extra 1 % that means the difference between glory and ignominy of falling before the line. Others are more cautious as they scour the leagues for a bargain bonanza to bounce back beyond the bottom reaches of the bile and bilge as teams barge into open water and the promise of safety.

There are some significant points to be taken from week 31 but before we run the rule of law and decide on winners and losers its time to make you plans for week 32.

Only 8 fixtures but still a potential 80 points , plus bonus. Nothing is inconsequential at this time of the season.

An extra 40 Bonus points is up for grabs this week. To nestle and hoard your ill begotten gains predict which team from Week 32 will score the fastest goal.  For an extra 20 bonus points name the scorer.

good luck me hearty's.

Can I change my first goal scorer to Danny Ward? Shinnie only on the bench.

The Hubris of one is a downfall to many, but thankfully only the afflicted did further harm to themselves.

Exeter, in a what can only have been a fit of the one eyed mirror  decided he would postpone the cardiff v Brighton game. One can only imagine the scheming and travailing and sleepless nights that went into masterminding this devious plan. Luckly for Banterer's we have our own secret service working night and day to uphold the integrity of the league.

Interestingly , Oneaday also tried to undermine the league system but thankfully his was just youthful doubt and premature ejaculation and he tried to right his wrong using the respected channels of the FA.

This completes a trio of oddities over the last few weeks started by Unifier . He has mysteriously dropped off the radar only to appear with 2 midweek fixtures. For one usually so precise and conscientious we offer our in-house support services.

The pressure is clearly telling.

Here are the results for week 32

TLA returns to the top after a dismal run.

Oneaday forgets his packed lunch.

MMM , is oh so close...

IAN AND GHF do themselves no harm...

TLA=37

Ian=33

MMM=30

GHF-33 (amended)

S8=24

EX=20

Oneaday=18

Andy=17

Worcester=14

MMM, came closest to snagging a huge bonus but was beaten by the veteran and Bluebirds favourite ,Whittingham who bagged his goal 11 minutes before Volkes easily beat Camp.

Do not despair dear punters. There will be another chance to leap frog your nearest and dearest very soon.
