Determination & fight, we'd have lost that last week. As you said, point gained, clean sheet & Neil has got time to work with the players now. Good atmosphere today too.
we would indeed have lost that game last week and the week before and so on...granted Hull and Brighton...anyway not to focus too much on the past.
That was a very good all round performance.
There was only the usual 15 minutes when we looked under it and the deep ball with pace used against us every second half of every game nearly undid us again but this time the players ran and ran and battled with real belief and we held firm.
A very good game and a much improved spirit.
Even Green, especially after Warnock tore in to him was excellent in the tackle.
Id be happy with that level of commitment going forward.
As I have been saying, Halford is one of our better players and has been given a new opportunity to prove it. He did prove it very well and he is one of the ingredients needed for Warnock to bake a stay-up cake.
